There were a lot of epic matchups and friendly rivalries throughout this past outdoor season for the girl's distance crew, and here are some of the notable ones.

Taylor Rohatinsky of Lone Peak and Addi Bruening of Herriman were the top dogs heading into this season and they traded some blows with Rohatinsky winning the 800m and 1600m 6A state title while Bruening took the 3200m 6A state title.  Rohatinsky who had her first full season of track, made history and will go down as one of the greatest distance runners of all time in Utah.  Taylor's final resume will include times of 2:10.65 for 800m, 4:42.32 for 1600m, and 10:35.90 for 3200m. 

The freshman class had a battle of their own between Timpview's Jane Hedengren and Mountain View's Julie Moore.  Both of these freshmen are generational talent that could have been at the top of their class in almost any state, but luckily for us, we get to see them compete for the remainder of their high school years.  Jane took the 5A titles in the 16...
