The girl's hurdles were a wild ride where we saw new leaders in each of these events throughout the season, and it wasn't until the Utah State Championships that we could see how we would finish on top. For the 100H, it was senior Eliza Smith out of Bingham. Smith had some competitive names she was facing off against and traded wins with a few athletes in the state and out, but when it mattered most, Eliza ran a personal best at the state meet in 14.79 to win the 6A title breaking 14.80 for the first time in her career.
Switching to the 300 Hurdles, we saw three of the top times to end the season comes from the State Championships, two of which were run in the State final.
