Davis High School Alumni Courtney Wayment wrapped up her first World Champs with a 12th place finish in the 3000m Steeple Chase, and she was happy with her performance!
Wayment was coming off a national championship performance at the NCAA Div 1 Championships, where she also set a new collegiate record in the 3000m SC when she won it in 9:16.00.
Courtney has since signed a contract with On Running, and what better way to start her professional career than with a 12th place finish at the World Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon!
