Hailey Low of Layton finished with the fastest time out of all athletes in the class of 2023. Low was the only junior to dip under 18 minutes for the 5000m course and she finished third overall in the 6A race. The next 3 fastest times from the junior class all were in that 6A race behind Low. Raygan Peterson of Timpanogos won the 5A race in a time of 18:15 which was the 5th fastest time for her class and Adelaide Englestead of Panguitch won the 1A race in a time of 19:35. Peterson and Englestead had the highest finishes in the class of 2023.
