Dominique McKenzie and Marcus McKenzie are some of the top prospects for football and track in the country, and they have finally decided where they want to attend college. They announced via Instagram that they are committing to continue their careers at the University of Virginia after serving a two year LDS church mission!
Dominique and Marcus ran some of the fastest times over 100m and 200m and helped contribute to the country's fastest relay times last track season. Dominique finished the 2021 season with new personal bests of 10.60 in the 100m and 20.73 in the 200m, Marcus finished with personal bests of 10.55 in the 100m and 21.10 in the 200m.
They have both received offers to play football and run track at UVA. Participating in multiple sports is not easy but has been done before, and the twins are open to competing in both sports!
Heading into the 2022 track season, Dominique is the 6th fastest returner in the 200m for the country and Marcus is the 14th fastest returner for 200m as well. They both fall in the top 40 for the fastest returning 100m times.
