Banks Jackson of Maple Mountain posted the fastest freshman times of the year for the 100 and 200m events at the Alpha Invitational last week. Banks finished the 100m in a time of 11.90 and the 200m in a time of 23.76.
Jackson has run in three meets so far this year and made his high school debut at the Early Bird Invitational where he ran 12.18. Jackson dropped his time down to 12.08 at the Mountain Valley invite and now sits happily under twelve seconds with his latest performance of 11.90 at the Alpha Invitational!
