Utah Boys Performer Of The Week (3/29-4/4)

*Jayden Holdsworth (left) was your week 1 winner for UPOTW for outdoors. Jake Orr (right) is a nominee for week 2.

Jayden Holdsworth of Orem grabbed his first major win of the season down in St.George at the Pine View Invitational where he won the 3200m in a time of 9:17.54.

Jayden 3200m race down at Pine View was his 3rd and latest race for that distance and 9:17 is a new PR for the Weber State commit.

Holdsworth currently ranks 10th in the entire state for 3200m and he sits in 2nd for the 5A classification.

You can bet that Jayden and his fellow teammates wants to stack the podium full of Orem athletes at State for the distance events, and with Holdsworth leading the way, they have a pretty good chance of doing so.

Congratulations to Jayden Holdsworth and all the other athlete nominees for week 1.

We'll have twelve candidates in this week's poll. Voting will end Friday at 12 PM MST, and we'll recognize the winner every Monday during the unveiling of the newest poll.
