Caila Odekirk of Hurricane has been showing significant improvement in just the first few weeks of the season climbing as high as the top 40 in the country for the 3200m! Caila has only raced the 3200m TWICE in her entire career and she is already one of the best in the country at that event and leads the all runners in the State with her time of 10:47.37 that she ran at the Pine View Invitational. Caila also won the 1600m at Pine View in a new personal best and state-leading time of 5:01.07 coming so close to breaking that magical five-minute barrier that all distance runners dream of achieving!
