Kaelani Sagapolu of Fremont won the Salem Indoor Field Invitational with a mark of 34-3 in the shot put. Sagapolu is entering her senior year now as one of the top returners for throws in the 6A classification. Sagapolu was 2nd her sophomore year in the discus when she threw 114-0.5, and after not having a junior year, Kaelani will look to also qualify for state in the shot put for the first time in her high school career and compete with the best of the best.
