Throwback Thursday: Haden Penrod Breaks 800m Indoor Record!


Haden Penrod of Springville was one of the most dominant 800m runners in Utah state history.  Penrod won three straight 800m state titles while in High school and ran a personal best of 1:50.79 his senior year which is the fourth fastest time ever!  Penrod currently holds the 800m indoor state record which he set back in 2017 when he ran a 1:52.61 at the Utah Distance challenge finishing well ahead of his nearest competitor.  Penrod went on to win the 800m and 1600m individual 4A state titles and is currently running for BYU.
