Casey Clinger of American Fork became the first male athlete to win two NXN Titles when he broke the tape in Portland back in 2016. Clinger ran a 14:42.00 on the Casa Grande Course his senior year which was the course record back then. He remains the fastest Utah Athlete to ever run in that race on that course. Carson Belnap of Stansbury ran just .03 seconds shy of beating Clingers time this past Saturday when he finished 2nd overall.
