Team Preview:      Last year Desert Hills took the Region title along with the State Title.  With such a deep program recieving points from almost every event,  Desert Hills looks poised to repeat what they did last year.  Being led by their all star senior Zachar Marsden.

Individual Preview:    Again Zachary Marsden will be the boys highlight from Region 9 this year.  He was the State Champion last year in the 100m,  200m,  and 400m.  Those 30 individual points played a huge role in his team winning the title.  Ryan Warner also from Desert Hills was the State Champ in the Discus last year so that's another 10 points added to that team.  Other people to watch out for would be Caleb Armstrong from Hurricane who has the fastest returning time in the 800m, Julien Canales of Pine View who was the State Champion in Cross Country this past fall,  and the sophomore Ethan Sailors from Dixie who is the top returner in the High Jump.
