UHSTCA INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

February 6th and 7th, 2009 @ the Kearns Ice Oval

 

The Utah High School Track Coaches Association held the annual Indoor State Championships at the Kearns Ice Oval. As expected several top performances were established. Girls MVP went to Mountain View mi-deistance/sprinter sensation Kelsey Brown. Davis high also claimed girls team champions with 92 team points.

 

  • - Brooke Jensen of Davis victorious in the 60 meter hurdles in 8.88 seconds; #1 all-time indoors and currently ranked #15 nationally
  • - Dominique Thompson of Kearns runs 7.82 seconds for the 60 meter dash; #3 all-time indoors
  • - Mountain View sprint/mid-distance star Kelsey Brown takes home 400m (57.97) and 800m (2:20.59) titles earning meet MVP honors
  • Sarah Oldham of Davis jumps to the #2 all-time indoor tripple jump with a leap of 32'01.00"
