Davis entered the meet the overwhelming favorite on both the boys and girls side of things. The girls entered the meet still ranked #1 in the nation, and they had no intention of taking it easy at the Region 1 Championships. They ran in a pretty tight pack for a good portion of the race before their Freshman standout Aubrey Argyle took things over. She finished very strong giving the Darts the individual victory to go along with their team victory. Courtney Wayment of Northridge and Isabella Willams of Syracuse each ran a tough race and were in the mix for the individual win until Argyle pulled away. Wayment ended up second with Williams third. After the pair crossed the line it was all Gold and Brown, with 7 Darts in a row crossing the line in a pack. The Darts won the team title with 23 points. Syracuse was 2nd with 66, with Weber third in 92. Fremont grabbed the last qualifying spot with 122 points, just holding off Viewmont who had 126. The hard part for Viewmont is they had a non-scorer ahead of their 5th girl and with that they could have moved on to state.

The Boys race was much the same as the girls, with Skylar Williams and Josh Ward of Davis going 1-2, running 15:43 and 15:56 respectively. The also led the Darts to a team victory in the process. Kaden Winter of Fremont was just behind Ward in 3rd with a time of 15:58. Logan Mackay was third for the Darts in 16 minutes even. Dallin Leatherman of Viewmont was 5th, and grabbed an individual qualifying spot for state. Davis scored just 23 points to win the team title. Weber was second also with a pretty good day with 50.
