Our latest For The Record episode features Timpview High School junior Jane Hedengren, one of the nation's top distance runners who is coming off an epic performance in the mile at the Arcadia Invitational, where she went 4:37.17.
Jane is a multiple-time Utah state cross country and outdoor state champion and the winner of the mile last year at Brooks PR, where she set the seventh-fastest mile in history in a time of 4:35.69.
She also set a 3-mile best in September at the Woodbridge Cross Country Classic with a performance of 15:32.50 -- though it was later bested that season.
