Analee Weaver Adds National Champion Title to Resume

---

Analee Weaver already has a massively impressive running career resume that includes being the 2021 3200m State Champion, 2 Class AA XC Titles, 2 Gatorade XC Player of the Year titles for Minnesota, Stillwater school records, and holds the State 5K record for Minnesota girls cross country runners.

Well, now she can also call herself a National Champion!

Weaver ran at the 2022 USATF U20 Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field where she won the girls 5000m race and finished 2nd in the girls 3000m race. Weaver ran a 16:25.67 to beat out runner-up Heidi Nelson by 5 seconds to claim the U20 National title.

Weaver also ran in the 300m race where she finished in 2nd with a time of 9:41.65 to finish 7 seconds behind Kate Peters.

This means that Weaver has qualified to represent the United States at the 2022 World U20 Championships in Santiago de Cali, Colombia in August this year.
