In remembrance of the Simplot Games, let's take a look down memory lane at one of the most exciting 3200m performances by a Utah native at the prestigious meet in Pocatello. Back in 2018, Ryan Raff of Lehi ran 9:04.94 to win the event and set a new U.S. No 1 for that event.
Ryan would go on to run a personal best of 8:54.09 in the 3200m and join the ranks of the sub 9 boys who have accomplished the feat on Utah soil. Ryan currently runs for Northern Arizona University where he has been a key runner for a few of their national XC title runs.
