Herriman senior Addi Bruening had a great cross country season from start to finish, and it ended with her winning her first career XC state title in the 6A class race. Bruening ran times of 17:28 for three miles and also 17:28 for 5000m.
She had the top performance from the State XC meet and impressive wins at big meets such as the Timpanogos XC Invitational. Addi swept her regional and divisional race en route to winning the state meet and performed well in the postseason, placing 7th at the Southwest Regional race and 13th at the Eastbay West Regional race.
