Dalton Mortensen ran a perfect race against some of the best talents Utah had to offer back in 2020 when he won the UIAAA Invitational. Mortensen was up against AF's duo of Brayden Packard and Nate Jaster along with many other talented individuals from all corners of the State.
Dalton went hard from the gun setting a grueling pace and challenging the other competitors to go out with him taking the race out of the kicker's hands. Thanks to this daring move, Dalton was able to hold off the rest of the field and win the meet in a time of 15:01. Brayden Packard came in next just six seconds behind Mortensen and Jaster rounded out the top three in 15:14
