Hailee Phillips of Snow Canyon was the only girl to dip under that 19-minute barrier this past week in the first 3mile race of the season. The senior ran well and battled to the end to give her team the lowest individual score possible which helped her team come away with a top-three finish at the Cedar All-Comers meet. Phillips had a terrific season on the track running 2:19 for 800m and 5:12 for 1600m. Hailee showed that she can also hand with the leaders in a longer race and she will be one of the top girls to watch out of Southern Utah.
