*Carlee Hansen of Woods Cross after winning the 5A Class Title

2020 was a year for a lot of firsts and one of those first was that the Utah State XC Championship meet was split into a two-day event that saw half of the state running in cedar and the other half running in Wasatch.

Of all the senior athletes that competed at this year's state meet in Wasatch, 22 of them ran at state all four years of their high school career. Carlee Hansen led the way by winning her third consecutive 5A Class Title and finished with the fastest time of the day on the extremely difficult 5000m course.
