Topping the rankings heading into next week's Big Showdown down in Arizona on the boy's side is Corner Canyon (UT), who stand firmly in front of Dakota Ridge (CO), while Niwot (CO) and Mountain Vista (CO) are just a few points back.
On the girl's side of the rankings Lone Peak (UT), and Niwot (CO) share the No. 1 spot. Cherry Creek (CO), Desert Vista (AZ), Springville (UT), and Battle Mountain (CO) are in chase.
The top two teams get those auto-qualifying spots to Nike Cross Nationals in Portland, though finishing third or fourth can keep the dream alive, as they enter an at-large berth hat.
