Boys team scores merge from all 6 classifications at the 2017 Utah State Cross Country Championships. The Springville boys, team champions in 5A, came out on top in the merge by a margin of 42 points over the 6A champions from American Fork. Led by individual state runner-up Grant Garnder (14:58), the Springville's top 5 finishers averaged 15:26 as a group compared to American Fork at 15:49 and 5A runners-up Timpanogos at 15:57.

Expect all 3 teams to be in contention for Nike Cross Nationals berths in a month at the NXN Southwest Regional in Arizona.
