Indoor Season hits stride at the BYU High School Indoor Invitational

2009 BYU High School Indoor Invitational

The annual BYU High School Indoor Invitational held at the BYU-Smith Field House drew top athletes throughout the state and produced top marks as the indoor season hits stride. Sprinters, jumpers, throwers, and distance runners competed in a mayriad of flights to claim top honors.

Among top performance winners were Candace Eddy of Davis who breased through the mile in 5:07.15 winning by half a lap uncontested. In the boys two-mile Hillcrest placed four competitors sub 11 minutes, impressive considering the tight turned track.
