The defending State Champ in the shot put had a great weekend, throwing a personal best of 61 feet and 9 inches. While he had not thrown over 60 feet prior to his senior season, he has accomplished this feat in each of his last three contests. This puts him atop of the state leaderboard by nearly ten feet!
