Once again, we take our tour of the meets in the Southwest region. Unlike many weeks, however, there is one meet this week that stands out above all the others. If you don't already know what it is, you'll know when you reach the Arizona section of this week's review.
Nevada
What we have from Nevada this week is the Reed Invitational. And, it was here that McQueen extended their reign of terror over northern Nevada boys cross country. It's the same story is it's been all season: Kai Benedict and company have no peers--at least not this year--in the Reno/Carson City area, though the outcome of this meet was a little closer than many have been this year. Douglas fulfilled expectations and convincingly won the girls title.
