Around the Southwest we go again--in 20 minutes or less. And it was a busy, busy weekend of high school cross country action!
Nevada
Northwest, Southeast, and not a Green Stick in sight. It would appear Palo Verde took a weekend off from racing. In PV's absence, Coronado and Centennial (girls) and Green Valley (boys) were big winners. A tighter battle was staged out Northwest way betwixt Centennial and Arbor View, though clearly not on a course suited to great times. Centennial's boys were back in a little more like prime time form for Red Rock Running over the weekend. The Centennial girls likewise dominated at Red Rock, which would include downing Palo Verde in convincing form.
Times were commensurate with the name of the length of the race at the North Tahoe Kiwanis Mountain Motivational Invitational. If there was a great Nevada team exposed here somewher...
