It's difficult to fathom how much Nike Cross Regionals - Southwest has grown. This fall, the event will be in only its eighth year. It has already outgrown two courses. It is the largest, and certainly among the most competitive, of the Nike Cross regions. It has become, in seven short years, the almost-obligatory championship meet of the top teams of the Southwest region.
So, along with all the other things we talk about as the cross country season draws near, we naturally save some space in the conversation for NXR-SW as well.
