About Our Team

Herriman High was established in the fall of 2010. The team started with young kids that had never run before, because all of the experienced kids stayed at Bingham and Riverton. The team won a girls Region title first year defeating Bingham and both boys and girls placed top 10 at State.

Since then Herriman Boys Cross Country won the 4A State Championships setting a new 4A course record in 2012. The Boys team took 10th at NXN Southwest in 2011. They tied for 3rd place in 2012 and just missed going to NXN Nationals. Lucy Biles has won a 4A(2012)and 5A(2013)(2014)State Championships and posted 3 top 5 times on the Utah State Course. Lucy also has been 3 time Gatorade XC Runner of the Year and was a Foot Locker All-American(2013) and NXN All-American(2014).

In 2013, the Girls were the 4A State Track and Field champions while the boys were the runners-up to Woods Cross. The Girls won the 5A State Track and Field title in 2014 and the Boys were once again 2nd.
