Meet Information

9th Irvine/Asics Distance Carnival
This will provide a place to bring your distance runners looking for a good competition on a great track. The meet will have the 400, 800, 1600, and 3200 events.

Awards-
Medals will be given to the first 2 places 400m, 4 places in the 800m, 6 places in the 1600, 7 places in the 3200m in EVERY RACE. We are using a custom medal specifically designed for the Irvine Distance Carnival

Divisions: Boys F/S & Varsity, Girls F/S & Varsity
Entry Fee: 6.00 per athlete, per event. Team Cap is $250 per gender or $500 for unlimited entries.

You will need to bring a check the day of the meet. Please do not send checks!

Distance Events (400m, 800m, 1600m, 3200m)Schools will be allowed to enter unlimited entries for each of these events.

Order of EventsThe Order of Events is enclosed and will aid planning of entries. We run ahead of schedule whenever possible.

Athletes AdmissionAthletes will have their hand stamped at the Athletes check-in gate located near the Snack Bar Building. For admission to the stadium track athletes must be wearing their uniform.

Concession StandWe will have a full concession stand

SpikesSpikes must be 3/16 or smaller. Additional spikes will be available for sale at the table near the entrance to the stadium. The Clerk of the Course and the Starters will be checking for proper spikes.

T-ShirtsT-Shirts will be available for sale for 10 dollars!

ProgramsPrograms will be available for sale for spectators at the entrance of the stadium. It will include the Order of Events, the names of athletes that are competing in each heat and event.

Athletic TrainerWe will have several trainers on site and available for all athletes. The trainer will be set up on the infield toward the scoreboard side under a canopy. Make sure that you bring training supplies with you for your athletes.

Track and InfieldOnly those athletes that are participating may be on the infield or on the track area. Athletes will be given proper time to warm up before they are called to compete. It is important that athletes check-in when there heat is called.

CanopiesCanopies are allowed on the grass area near the scoreboard and on the visitors side of the stadium. Canopies will NOT be allowed on the press box side of the stadium.
