Throwback Thursday: Tyler Oustrich runs 48.5 in the 400m!

Tyler Oustrich, the senior from Lehi ran a new State leading time in the 400m last weekend when he won the private club meet in a time of 48.50!  Oustrich was representing Gold Medal Athletics for this meet and that time would have been good for a second place finish at last years state meet in a loaded 400m field.  Oustrich and so many other athletes did not let a pandemic stop them from training and keeping their fitness up and these club meets have proven how dedicated and serious these athletes are to the sport.  There are still more meets to come in the following weeks meaning Tyler could run even faster then he did last week!
