Eliza Mason was the top of her class last xc season running under 18 minutes for a 5K! Mason was a low stick runner for the Lone Peak girls having an average place finish of 5th (before State). Eliza struggled in that last mile at State and dropped from a top ten position to finish 33rd overall in the race. Eliza bounced back however and dropped the first sub 18 minuted 5k of her career when it mattered most at NXR-SW where she placed 25th overall in the Championship Girls race. In track she ran well and managed to finish on the podium in the 3200m finishing 3rd overall!
