American Fork Girls upset #5 Lone Peak for State Title!
Top Team Finishes in 2018: 2nd at Region 4, 1st at State Class 6A, 17th at NXR-SW

Analysis: The American Fork girls had a super deep team with an insane spread last year. Due to how tight they ran, they were able to steal away the 6A State Title from the favorites Lone Peak. It was one of the biggest upsets of the season because Lone Peak was ranked 5th in the nation at the time. Their top finisher at state was freshman Hazel Baird who came in 9th overall and got her first career state medal! AF returns 3 of its top 7 from state but you can bet that they have 4 JV girls ready to go for the cavemen this season!
