What was your most memorable race/throw/jump/vault/moment?

    my most memorable moment was when my team beat our school record in the 4x4 & took state.


Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?

    Meghan Hunter



What was your greatest accomplishment?

    my greatest accomplishment was taking State in the 400 repeat & 200 also taking State as a team back to back and 3/4 years in my career.



If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?

    I would change my attitude toward my goals. I wish I would've realized how good I could've been earlier & worked harder in the weight room & on the track.

                                

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

    3 stress fractures my freshman year! it was so hard to watch my team and not be able to run.


What will you miss the most?

    I will definitely miss my coaches & my teammates the most. I've been able to grow a special relationship with each one and I'm so sad to leave them.



What advice would you give to younger athletes?

work hard for what you want! don't give up on hard workouts, they only make you better!


What influence has your coach had with respect to your performance and overall life goals?

    my coaches have had the most impact in my life. my dad is one of my coaches and he works me harder & pushes me to be my best in each aspect of life. they have each given advice to me, we are all so close they are my second dads, especially my coach Jeweks and Harris. they have given me positive reinforcements on & off the track & they have supported me in many decisions! they respect each of my runs & they all have made me better through each workout!



What are your college plans?

I plan on attending & running for the University of Utah! go Utes!



Who would you like to say 'thank you' to?

I would like to say thank you to my parents! they are my biggest supporters & I wouldn't be where I was without them. they push me to be my best & they have never missed a race. I'm so thankful for them! I would also like to say thank you to my siblings who always loved me even if I am mad about a race. also to the rest of my fam! I love you! thank you again to all my coaches & everything you have taught me & being a good influence on my life. Also, thank you to Dax my cutest supporter! thank you to my redmen family for letting me represent the best school & team ever. last of all thank you to my teammates the BABs! back to back state champs & I'm so proud of them.


Is there anything else you'd like to add?

I'm so thankful for the opportunity to continue my track career! high school track has meant so much to me & I'm thankful for the experiences I have had! Also, Josh from MileSplit is the best!
