How did you first get started running?

I started running track because it was on the offseason of high school soccer, and I wanted to try it because it looked fun. I never would have thought then that I would be this successful at it.

Favorite workout?

My favorite workout is when we do sprints up this 200m stretch of dirt hill in the back of my high school. We call it "alter hill"

Least favorite workout?

My least favorite workout is 5 x 300s

How do you personally prepare yourself mentally and physically for a race?

I train hard for my races so that when it's time for me to race I can be content and trust that the work that I've done has prepared me to perform. My coaches always tell us to trust the process.

Pre-race superstition?

I guess my pre-race superstition is that I always eat oatmeal for breakfast on race day haha. I also like to visualize my race before I run, every part of the race, and imagine everything going right.

Most memorable race?

My most memorable race is my 300 hurdles at state last year when I won and got a big PR! It was so cool to have my long time dream/ goal actually happen after working so hard for it.

Where are you at on college decisions?

I signed to run for BYU!

What are your top three goals for this season?

My top 3 goals this season:
• Repeat state champ in 300 hurdles
• Win State as a team
• go sub-43 in the 300 hurdles
