Team Preview: Orem was the Region 10 Champion last season and finished 2nd in the State Meet! They lost some valuable scorers from that squad to graduation which opens the door for some other teams to take the title. Specifically Spanish Fork, who has a solid returner in Wyatt Evans who has the top returning mark in the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m. Those 30 points will play a big role in regions and those times will give his team some solid points at State.
Individual Preview: Again Wyatt Evans is looking to be the guy out of region 10. He has some of the top returning times all across the board and is looking to bring in a hefty sum of points for his team come May. Cooper Legas from Orem is another athlete you will want to watch for as well. His mark in the javelin of 198-9 is the top returning mark overall classifications by a huge margin. He's a top 10 thrower in the country coming into the season so look for him to be making national headlines as well as local!
