Helena (Mimi) Miyazawa is starting her senior and she has already had two great performances. She opened with a win at the Highland Invitational crossing the line in a time of 17:18.90 which was just about 30 seconds over the next runner! That time is also 9 seconds faster then Sadie Sargent's winning time from last year. Mimi then ran at her Pre Regionals where she was runner up to Anna Martin in a time of 18:20.69.

When I was little my older brothers ran and I would go and watch them. I looked up to them and wanted to run. So I started doing sprints in track and then my best friend, kels, told me to try out cross and do distance. Now I'm running distance for track and running cross country!
My favorite workout is tempos
Idk what exactly my least favorite workout is. Probably the ones that take so long
Some things that help me prepare for a race is pray and read scriptures (in my LDS religion), I trust and believe in myself, as well as trust in previous workouts.
And dont forget to stretch.
A superstition is... if you drink soda you'll run slow.
Most memorable race is when us Mv girls got runner up for state champs unexpectedly my freshman year!
