Davis ran for the first time since states in the 100m at the Atlanta Relays and scored a time of 11.38 (-1.2), posting the fourth fastest time of her career. She also won the 200m in 23.01 (-1.2), beating Jamaican Kevona Davis. Overall, her two-way performance in the 100-200 is faster combined than anyone else in the nation. When adding in the IAAF scoring table, her effort in the 200m is higher (1118) than any single performance in the country this year.
2
Williams didn't break a national record at Great Southwest but she ran well, scoring the second fastest time of her career in 11.25 (+1.5) before adding a victory in the 200 in 23.38 (+0.7). Her combined 100-200 performances are the third fastest in the nation. Her effort in the 100m is the second highest point total (1172) on the IAAF scoring table. She's running at Great Southwest this weekend.
3
Put Collier in the right field, and the girl can move! The Bolles senior scored the No. 5 best effort all-time at the 800m, going 2:00.85 at the Music City Distance Carnival. Add that to her US No. 1 4:38.48 in the 1-mile and you have one of the best high school distance seasons in Florida history.
4
Are you ready to see the best of Katelyn Tuohy? Because in the next few weeks we should witness it. She dispatched the field at her most recent state qualifier in the 3K, going 9:15.20, the No. 12 fastest all-time. She also won the 1500m. Couple that with her national record in the 3200m from the Loucks Games (9:47.88) and you have another remarkable season from Tuohy.
5
The new national record holder in the heptathlon didn't just beat the former mark. She freaking shattered it! With 5,798 points, Hall PR'ed in almost single event at the Great Southwest and stamped her name as one of the best in high school history. She's an elite hurdler at 300mH, is ranked top five in the high jump and top 15 in the long jump, and generally looks like the next best thing in the multis.
6
CO
A quality win in the 400m at Great Southwest, Minor ran 22.89 in the 200m and 51.92 in the 400m earlier this season.
7
Still holding on to that US No. 11 all-time best in the 100mH (13.03) from earlier this season, Jones will get a few more cracks at running under 13 seconds (USAs and possibly U20s). Jones races up to competition, so watch out for a big performance.
8
The nation's triple jump leader won the Great Southwest Classic and still owns an all conditions best of 45-4.75 and wind-legal 44-1.
9
Welcome to the top 10, Abby. The Ohio sprint star culminated her high school career with her fourth straight title at 100 and 200 meters. What was most impressive, though, was her No. 12 all-time effort of 22.73 in the 200m. That was legendary. She's ranked No. 2 in combined time for the 100-200 in 2018.
10
Possibly the best hurdler at 100mH or 300mH in the nation. Will we see her line up against Masai? Until then, we're going to give Sloan, the state record holder and Oregon recruit, the nod in this head-to-head matchup.
11
US No. 1 in the 300mH and 400mH, Russell may face her stiffest competition at USA Jrs.
12
Hart is US No. 3 all-time in the 3200m in 9:52.02 and won the Magis Miles this weekend in 4:44.63.
