WATCH Freshmen National Record Holder Brandon Miller Go After Sub 1:50 In Brooks PR 800!

Brandon Miller, the freshmen stud at John Burroughs High School, will be racing Saturday against some of the nation's very best half milers at the Brooks PR Invitational in Seattle, Washington. Miller, who broke the freshmen national record in the 800 with his 1:50.84 race at the Missouri State meet, will be racing in a field today which includes 7 others who have gone under 1:51 this season.

The race will be a great opportunity for Miller, who has dominated the age group scene in summer track over the years, to measure up against some of the top upperclassmen runners in the country. Certainly an improvement of his 1:50.84 freshmen national record is likely with the competition to pull him along and just maybe enough to see him do the unthinkable with a sub 1:50 performance.

Another freshmen superstar from Missouri will be competing at the Brooks PR Invitational in Alicia Burnett of Ft. Zumwalt South in the girls 100 meter dash. Burnett is the state leader in the event with her 11.47 season best by the Class 4 state champion. She is ranked third fastest in the field, so actually might have the best chance of bringing home a Brooks PR title back to Missouri.

All of the races from the Brooks PR Invitational will be LIVE streamed on FloTrack.com for FREE starting today at 3:30 PM CT. Brandon's race is scheduled to go off at 4:43 PM CT and Alicia's race will soon follow at 4:55 PM.
